Important Note on Firmware

• Phones running Minet firmware are not supported by 8x8, as Minet is compatible only with Mitel solutions.

• If your phones are currently using Minet firmware, they must be migrated to SIP firmware before they can work with 8x8.

• The migration from Minet to SIP is a technical and manual process that requires assistance from Mitel support. 8x8 does not provide support for this migration.

This means that if your Mitel phones are already on SIP firmware, you’ll be able to take advantage of the new 8x8 compatibility. If not, we recommend checking your firmware version before planning your migration.
